  *Two running illegal business trapped by Local crime branch, Nearly value of involved property ₹2,00,000/-  seized.  2 cases filed.  A case of house breaking theft was detected.*

                 Briefly, the fact is as follows. The Superintendent of Police Mr.  Somay Munde has directed to take strict action against running illegal business in the district.

                 Accordingly, Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Mr.  Somay Munde, Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Devere, verious teams are formed under the leadership of Police Inspector Gajanan Bhatalwande of Local Crime Branch. The team got confidencial information and trapped at mhada colony, Latur in the jurisdiction of Vivekananda Chouk Police station. The team found two persons saling foreign liquor in their car. The team cought one person and other one is ran away.

Name of Detained person is 

 1) Harjit Singh alias Pape Sarpal Singh Tak, aged 32 years, residing at Talhipparga, Ganpati Ghat, Tuljapur, Zakat Nakasmor, Hagalur, Solapur North presently residing at Mahada Colony, Babalgaon Road, Latur.  

And the name of other one who ran away is

 2) Karan Singh Laxman Singh Bawari will live in Sanjay Nagar Latur.

The team searched the car which is in his possession, boxes and bottles of different companies of foreign liquor were found in it, the team has seized the foreign liquor and the car along with a total value of ₹ 1,87,120/-.  Crime Register No. 22/2023, Section 124 M.P.A. read with section 81, 83, 65(a)(e) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act and further investigation is being conducted by the police of Vivekananda Chowk Police Station.

Both the above mentioned accused are criminal history. Many cases related to goods and body offence are registered in various police stations in Latur district against them. In interrogation the team found that the sized property of foreign liquor was stolen from Hotel Garwa which is on Nilanga Aurad road in the jurisdiction of Nilanga Police station between January 11 and January 12 midnight. The police are also investigating in that direction.

          The second team of the local crime branch trapped another running illegal business in the jurisdiction of Aurad shahajani police station area and caught following person 

 1) Vishnu Shankar Antareddy, aged 36 years, resident of Bhawani Nagar, Aurad Shahjani, Taluka Nilanga.

Bottles of country liquor and other items value worth ₹ 17,370/- were seized from him.

A case has been registered against him under Maharashtra Prohibition act at Police Station Aurad Shahajani and the further investigation of the crime is being conducted by Aurad Shahajani Police Station.  

  The operation was conducted under the guidance of the senior and under the leadership of police inspector Gajanan Bhatalwande of the local crime branch, API Sachin Dronacharya, PSI Shailesh Jadhav, ASI Sanjay Bhosale, PC Ram Gaware, Sudhir Kolsure, Siddheshwar Jadhav, Mohan Survase, Yogesh Gaikwad, Pradeep Chopani, Navnath Hasbey, Pramod Tarde, Turab Pathan.
