Cancel the burying tender and stop eating the cheese from the dead bodies

When the pandemic Covid 19 started in pune municipal corporation area many problems arised in front of them .

When the first person died in PMC area due to corona . For its last rite reletives and PMC workers at that time were scared to do . Former PMC commissioner Mr chandrasekhar Gaikwade said that people and workers are very scared . He requested all social workers and NGO's to come ahead and help us in this bad situation.

For their request n help first we MULNIVASI MUSLIM MUNCH members met Former PMC commissioner chandrashekhar Gaikwade ,

Health Officer Mr Ram Hankare sir and Mrs kalpana baliwant mam and assured them we will help them to do the last rites of the corona death bodies .

They asked us what you will charge for it .

We gave in writing that we will not take a single rupee from PMC as well as relatives. we will do the last rites totally free of cost. Nor we will ask for any health or death insurance not any job we don't need anything from PMC or government we want to make place in heaven .

PMC approved us for this work and gave us the authorised letter .

In the beginning people were very scared .Families,not even single person was ready to come for last rites . All tea stalls, restaurants, hotels, roads everything were closed.

We never look behind we worked in very hot temperatures .it was very difficult to wear the PPE kit and worked as we were not used to it.

More difficult time to work during fasting month of Ramazan it was very hot , without food and water one cannot imagine the situation.

And in rainy season it is very difficult to bury the death bodies the mud is wet.

But we never stopped and from last 5 and half months we are working 24/7 . Till now we had done more than 350 death bodies of muslims, Christians, lingayat , Telgu and other communities with their respective religious rites system.

Recently PMC issued notice in news paper, tender for burying death bodies .

Tender amount is 27 lakh

When Mulnivasi Muslim Munch doing this work free of cost why they want to pay for this and waste public taxpayers money .

PMC. Officers did not want people to work socially in future.

They insulted all the NGO'S and people who is working and helping people who were very scared

For cancellation of this tender we had done movement on 21/08/2020

In front of pune municipal corporation gate..

Our movement was successful and PMC Officers cancelled the tender yesterday itself .
