Solapur based  Senior journalist and noted name of Marathi Journalism Eijaz Husain Mujawar got  life time achievement award from V.G 'Shivdare Pratishthan"Solapur for his journalistic contribution.Award was given away at the hands of Gahininath maharaj Ausekar on 17th August.

Speaking with Laturreporter.in Mujawar says,it is always good and exciting when someone recognises your services and felicitates you.

Sharing information about some of his reports which left huge impact and forced the concern to come forward and act on it ,he said that  I stated incompetence of police department during 2002 Solapur riots through my article , concern authority took it very positively and called me for discussion.

in another case of Mangalweda Taluka ,A father of five girl children  killed his wife and got arrested by the police,grand parents started taking care of children.Mujawar further adds that They were from very poor family background,grand parents couldn't manage the stress and responsibilities of children and one day grand father commited sucide .

As soon as Mujawar highlighted  the suffering of children through his news stories, many NGOs and social activists came forward to help those orphans.

55 year old Mujawar has  completed 35 years in  Marathi journalism , currently he is attached with Loksatta daily.

According Ayyub Nallamandu, journalist from solapur city ,Mujawar is very sincere and devoted journalist,his contribution since last three decades is commendable,he plays  a key role in "Shramik Patrakar Sangh" and he was president of this body too.
