This era has been so addicted to electronical gadgets where kids disapprove to have their meals if they aren't displayed with their favourits on smartphone. This circumstances are highly devastating yet parents can't even do anything and they probably feel helpless.
In these powerless situations parents from Mumbai have set a great example by making their 5 year old son memorize the 30th parah of Quran(islamic sacred book) through the plenty of time spent using smartphone during the holy month of Ramzan.
Shoaib Hashmi was very tensed and worried looking at his Abdur Rehman so much addicted and wasting endless time scrolling through the phone and playing games. So he thought why not use it to make him learn good deeds.Shaib made his son listen to Quran instead of the cartoons which he watched all day and within few days Abdur Rehman started listening to Qur'an and surprisingly memorised the whole 30th Parah even though he can't read or recognise a single word yet.
A.Rahman's mother who has also set a uplifting environment. She used to listen to surahs and quran while doing household chores and as it is rightly said 'Children learns from their environment',Rehman guzzled all the good habits.
Father,Shoaib Hashmi is Chief executive officer of Maharashtra state Urdu Sahitya Academy and Mother is a doctor.
Speaking to Latur reporter Shoaib said that
It is much pleasing for me that even after Ramzan my son has continued this habbit of memorising Quran using my cell phone,he has done Surah Rahman and Surah Juma.
Parents should avoid spending hours using mobile before children,we can use this gadget for to any religious or educational purposes because science is a blessing as well.
it just demands our sacrifice and attention,he added.
