Solapur -Political activists to felicitate 125 Teachers

As a part of Teachers'Day celebration and 82nd Birth day of Former Union Home Minister & Senior Indian National Congress leader Sushil Kumar Shinde ,Indian National Congress Minority cell members Asif Iqbal ,Riyaz Hundekari (Councillor) ,Haji Toufique Hatture(Councillor),Haji Moinuddin, Shoukat Pathan and Zubair Qureshi have planned a grand felicitation of nearly 125 Teachers from Minority community who have influenced the society through their teaching and successfully registered their presence in social , political & Journalistic field etc.

All the selected Teachers will be conferred with "Adarsh Shikshak Puraskar" at the hands Sushil Kumar Shinde and distinguished presence of MLA Praniti Shinde and Shahar Qazi Amjad Ali .

Function will be held on 16 September at Imperial Palace,Moulali chowk ,Solapur at 5 PM .

While sharing the details Organiser Asif Iqbal said,Teachers are the pillars are the society recognising their services is our duty.

Solapur city is known as a industry of teachers thousands of teachers are attached with aided ,Private ,Zilla Parishad and Municipality schools.

Moreover,it's teaching professionals are discharging duties in Konkan belt, Mumbai Pune, Marathwada and other cities.Exact number is not known but according to reliable source this figure may touch 1500. 

Asif Iqbal said, It was a tough job to shortlist 100 only among thousands and 25 only among nearly 1500.

 Our nominated committee has worked really hard and after marathon meetings we shortlisted 125 names ,100 Solapur city based and 25 Solapur natives working in other cities or states educational institutions.

Organising committee members Zubair Qureshi and Haji Moinuddin Shaikh said that it is moral responsibility to give due respect teachers as they social engineers.

facilitating 100% teachers is not possible but we can invite some of them and we are doing.This is going to be the grand function as 700 people could be attending the same,they added.

Zubair Qureshi says, Including non residential Solapuri teachers was also a needful decision.settling in other cities and proving themselves is a glorious job , finally they are originally ours.
