On Monday teachers of Solapur city pay homage to late  Mumbai School Head Master Shafi Shaikh at MA Pangal Urdu High School, Solapur 

He passed away on Saturday in Vikhroli Mumbai Based Hospital. 50 year old Shafi was suffering from some respiratory ailment, after 7 days struggle he lost his life battle, he was originally from Solapur city and serving Mumbai Anjuman Khairul Islam Urdu High School, Vikhroli as a headmaster. 

Since last 30 years he was in Konkan region and served various schools of Anjum Khairul Islam education society as an Asstt teacher and Head Master. 

During homage sitting members of Parwaz Foundation and other dignitaries of the cities where present. 

Rtd, teacher Irfan SM expressed that it is very painful to say that shafi is not with us, he was a very charming personality, his contribution in other fields was equally well. His untimely demise is a huge loss to the comunity and educational field, Irfan added. 

President of parwaz foundation Sami momin said, Shafi was like my brother, he was very helpful person, his alround performance in the field of education, Dramas etc. will also be remembered.

Bagban Haroon Rashid, Karim patel, Basheer sir, Aslam Bailif, Ziya momim, Shafi captain, Ismail Qureshi also shared their memories.
