                Briefly, the fact is that the Superintendent of Police Shri.  Somay Munde had directed to take action against illegal business in Latur district. Accordingly, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Devere, a campaign against illegal business is being implemented at all police stations and sub-division levels.

                    Under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Police Officer and Assistant Superintendent of Police (Ahmedpur) Shri.Niketan Kadam and to take action against illegal business within the limits of Ahmedpur Police Station, by forming a separate team of officers and enforcers, Assistant Superintendent of Police Shri.  Niketan Kadam conducted a special campaign under his own leadership.

          

           On the basis of confidential information received, raids were conducted at eleven different places within Ahmedpur police station limits.

These people were found in groups at different places taking money from people for their own benefit and playing matka gambling. A total involved property of ₹2,07,840/- of gambling materials and cash were seized from them.
