             The information in this regard is as follows. Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Somay Munde, the Women's Vigilance Committee was established at the office level of the Superintendent of Police.  A meeting of the new committee members was held on 03/05/2023 at 12.00 hrs in the office of Superintendent of Police. Meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Latur and a total of 11 newly appointed members of the women vigilance committee at the level of Superintendent of Police office were present in the said meeting.  15 women vigilance committee members of police station level and 24 women police constables were present.  First of all, all the members were introduced.  Also, Superintendent of Police Somay Munde guided the members of Vigilance Committee about the work of Women Vigilance Committee.

  👉🏿Solving the problems of women who come with complaints Necessary measures to prevent the crime against women's abuse Women vigilance committee member should cooperate with the police.

  The Superintendent of Police said that the purpose of establishing a women vigilance committee is to provide mental and physical support to the victimized women.

           The problems faced by the women vigilance committee members have been mentioned and action should be taken in every school, college etc. to solve the problems of girls in connection with setting up dialogue boxes and also in the medical, coffee shop etc. places which violate the rules.

Officer in charge of the police station has been ordered to patrol the tuition area and post an emergency number. The Superintendent of Police also gave information about the project sabhar parat. Sub-Inspector of Police Mrs. Shamal Deshmukh and large number of police officers/officials and women vigilance committee members were also present on this occasion.
